I am David Wilson; born in the United Kingdom, grew up in South Africa in the 1970’s and was educated in Cape Town. My passion for wildlife started during a three day visit to the Kruger National Park in 1986. After I returned from London (from a five year break in the 1990’s), I studied Nature Conservation at North West Parks Board and achieved a Prestige Diploma in Game Ranging & Lodge Management and was awarded the Nedbank trophy for the best game ranging student.

I have been a guide for over 25 years in South Africa, Botswana, Mozambique, Swaziland and Zimbabwe. And I worked in both private and national parks conducting safaris and tours, managing lodges and training staff and rangers. I also ran my own tour and safari company and was involved in voluntary conservation work in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve.

I recently moved to The Netherlands  and I would love to share my deep passion and true love for Africa, wild life, birding and photography with you!
